We had another fun day in Grandma's yard. The sidewalk is finally done. You can walk from the back gate all the way to the shed and never get your feet muddy. JJ got the big cemet mixer and all the guys lined up with the wheel barrels to haul it to the back yard. Hans, Efrain, and Brandon were first in line. With Uncle Grant, Uncle Ron,Uncle Jeff and JJ's friend Kevin right behind. The girls worked on getting a border all the way around the yard. We dug ditches and moved rocks and got all the back yard ready for the new lawn to come.
The limited space was interesting as they tried to make sure the cement went where they wanted it to.
Hans got stuck trying to smooth things out. He had to have a little help to get out, someone wanted to leave him there. (he will remain nameless!!)
The kids got to put their names in the cement so they will always remember that fun day. Some of the BIG kids wanted to put there names in the cemet also.
The kids didn't think it was the best fun! They were not allowed to move from the porch after Eden walked in the wet cement.
