Grant and I really enjoyed the Family Work Day at Mom's on Memorial Day Week end. JJ had the projects ready for all of us and it was fun to work with the family and get some things accomplished. The back yard is soon to be a lovely place to gather and just enjoy. We also enjoyed being with the extended family to honor our grandparents. It was fun to hear everyone's memories of them. I especially enjoyed hearing JJ's memory of when he was visiting Grandma and Grandpa Noakes and they sat him on the couch and then danced together for him in their dining room.

We need to do better about the memories. The kids love to hear the interesting things about their Grandparents.
